Once you go back to the root of that experience and find peace and ease within it, the fear will dissipate and you will have a newfound serenity and connection in your life.

Another example would be someone who is struggling with anxiety or anger and has tried every known method to control it but nothing is working. By utilizing hypnotherapy we can go into the unconscious mind and access information that is generally unavailable to the conscious mind. This is where our impulses, compulsions, emotional feelings, and habits live.

By gaining access to the files of the unconscious and shifting the way we perceive the past, the present moment will also change. Wayne Dyer, a famous self-help author pinpoints this when he says, “When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.”

It varies from person to person. Some people can be helped after just a few sessions, while others may require more time. This all depends on the depth of healing necessary and goals of the client. Healing requires time, commitment, and courage. But it is attainable and can be done.

Most people will experience great relief from a hypnotherapy session’s ability to affect and transform root-level programming, which exists as the source of a problem. This area of the mind is usually changed permanently with hypnosis. This is the biggest advantage of hypnotherapy over other forms of treatment.

The type of work I do, transpersonal hypnotherapy, also incorporates the spirit into your healing. Transpersonal means the crossing of the mind, body, and spirit. This is a hypnotherapy technique that draws in an awareness of your spirit (soul) experiencing the therapy and helps you to use what is going on in your world as a path to discover more understanding about your life and purpose.

Hypnosis becomes the bridge between the mind-body-spirit, accessed through an altered state of consciousness. When you engage in this process, you may develop greater self-awareness, self-understanding, and a whole body-mind-spirit connection.

In a regression hypnosis session, you will be guided into a state of deep relaxation through deep breaths and enter a hypnotic trance. It is through this state of hypnosis that you will be open to hypnotic suggestions and where you will begin to see the places that hold your limiting beliefs. This is when we can start working with the subconscious mind.
